Hester Family

We had a gorgeous day for a family/baby session. It was a little windy but very nice. We started our session at Burns Park. It was very busy, lots of people but we were able to find several spots off to ourselves. Little D was so much fun but really didn’t know what think of this photographer. But we capture some precious moments. We ended up down at the river. Found a wonderful spot in the grass and enjoy such a beautiful day. Just look at the love they have for another. Enjoy!

Baby Sneak-peek – April Session

Before I start, Wow! it has been a long time since I have posted. Let’s see… We have moved, been sick, three weddings, and sick again. Some people might be able to post while they are sick, but I am not one of them. I am pretty much a wimp when I am sick.
Finally, I get a little time to blog. I have lot’s of pictures to share but I wanted to start of this handsome fellow. We had a wonderful day taking pictures, I really can’t wait to share more. But for now, enjoy the sneak-peek.

Daffodil Fun

Well, I had fun, my wife had fun, but I am not certain that the boys had fun. We don’t get to go to the field every year but Saturday was a beautiful day, and I remember seeing a message on Facebook that the area was open for the weekend. That is where Facebook shines. Anyway, after my meeting with a Bride, we all got in the car and headed out. It’s about a good 30 min drive from Conway, driving more south than going south-east into Little Rock. It was definitely crowded (later that weekend, I saw on twitter that they had several hundred visitors). It keeps growing. The sun was in great spot for pictures so we found a spot and snapped a few. I guess having the photographer in me, it can really ware on my boys. I try not to use them often but I think they are very photogenic (not biased at all :) . I really don’t want to bribe, threaten or whatever us parents do to capture our kids portrait. I actually was looking for another photographer I know, but didn’t see her. I got the boys and wife together, then the boys by themselves, and of course my wife. I handed her the camera, still in manual mode mind you, and said press her then here :) . I’d say she did pretty good getting my picture. I like it so much I am using it on my next round of business cards. Here are few images from this past weekend. Enjoy!

Isn’t she beautiful!

Some random shots of others out in the field.

Sister’s Family

Last fall I had the opportunity to photography my Sister’s family. I felt very honored and privileged when they asked. When my sister and I were younger, we were totally opposite when it came to pictures. I love taking pictures and I love being in pictures. My sister on the other hand dis-like being in pictures. I don’t think she mind taking pictures but it wasn’t something she normally did. So, growing up, being the rotten brother, I would prance around (better yet, sneak around) with a camera to get pictures of anything but also to annoy her. You get the idea. My sister still does not like to be in pictures to this day. But to have my sister ask me to photograph her family, that really meant a great deal. Thank you Amy!

Well, you are probably asking why did you wait so long to get this out on the blog. The pictures were gifts for certain people in the family. Those family members needed to be kept in the dark. Since they are enjoying the gifts, I figure it is about time you did as well. Enjoy!

Of course, we had to get our boys in the mix. :)

New Member

A good friend of our family has recently got engaged. I don’t know if you remember, but we did a session (Mom and kids) a while back. Well, she needed some new pictures with her fiancee. We quickly put our schedules together and did a quick session before Christmas. We didn’t have much time and our friend’s fiancee was pretty busy with work. But I believe it all worked out. I posted a couple on my facebook page before, but here are a few more of my favorites. Enjoy!

Snow Fun Day

About a week and half ago, Arkansas got some nice snow.  We were hoping for it to snow on Sunday but alas, it did most of it on Monday morning.  So, I took an extra long lunch break and we got out there and had some fun.  Of course, while I am building the snow man, I am target practice for snow ball fight. :)   Below is a little time lapse of our adventure. Enjoy!

Rosenow Boys

The weekend I took this session was when I went to Castle Bluff with my oldest. Although I was already worn out from the trip, we had a great photo session. The time was just right too. There was some great color in sky and some trees were still hanging on to their colors. Of course, we had to pull mom and dad into the pics (I believe mom was expecting that :) . Enjoy!

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

K C & K Family

When we book this session, we knew that it was going to rain. And let me tell you, it rain. But as the day went on, the rain slowly became a drizzle and then it stopped. The clouds began to break, and the beautiful sun started to sparkle. When you see the images below, you might think; rain, what rain? The sky was clear, the sunset colors were beautiful. Enjoy!

On this next they are saying, we are hungry and tired, can we please go home. :)

Looking to get some Holiday cards?  Then book that Holiday Special session now.  It won’t last for long.
