Hester Family

We had a gorgeous day for a family/baby session. It was a little windy but very nice. We started our session at Burns Park. It was very busy, lots of people but we were able to find several spots off to ourselves. Little D was so much fun but really didn’t know what think of this photographer. But we capture some precious moments. We ended up down at the river. Found a wonderful spot in the grass and enjoy such a beautiful day. Just look at the love they have for another. Enjoy!

Baby Sneak-peek – April Session

Before I start, Wow! it has been a long time since I have posted. Let’s see… We have moved, been sick, three weddings, and sick again. Some people might be able to post while they are sick, but I am not one of them. I am pretty much a wimp when I am sick.
Finally, I get a little time to blog. I have lot’s of pictures to share but I wanted to start of this handsome fellow. We had a wonderful day taking pictures, I really can’t wait to share more. But for now, enjoy the sneak-peek.

Baby E is One!

Two posts ago I blog a little video of my boys and I building a snowman. Well, baby E’s mom and I thought it would be great to get some snow images. That prove to be difficult. We got a couple outside but baby E just didn’t want to be outside. So, we went back and just had fun taking pictures. After we all warmed up, we went on back porch and capture a few more. It wasn’t a big production when I brought the mirror and gear, but it was simple and nice. Enjoy!

Baby E Mirror Time

We had gotten some great nudie shots when she was first born. It was time to do it again. Of course, now we have one active little baby. Though, mom and grandmother was right there waiting for her if she decided to crawl on off the mirror (And she did a couple of times). Bringing the mirror was the perfect way to capture some fun and precious images. It was so cute watching her reactions in the mirror. And we didn’t just stop with the birthday suit, mom came out with some beautiful winter time outfits. We had a wonderful session. I believe she slept well afterwards. Enjoy!

Pumpkin Patch – Baby E

You better believe it, we went to the pumpkin patch and took some excellent images.  Now, I have to admit, she just was not interested in that photographer.  She was just grabbing at everything.  I guess hay, pumpkins, grass are just more interesting. Silly faces the photographer makes? Nah! However, she pretty much stayed where we put her.  Of course, brother loves getting his picture with little sis.  But those hay tunnels were just way too cool.  He was nervous at first, but he showed little sis how it was done.  He got so braved, that he tried a big boy slide.  Well, I think he had enough bravery for one day :) .

Today, I opted not to use the flash.  My beautiful assistant, Bonny, help me light the subjects with a reflector.  Not bad at all.  Got to remember that one.

Well, another great session.  Enjoy!

Just had a baby or getting ready to.  Let’s talk about the one year baby plan.  I look forward to your call or email.

Baby E – She’s sitting up

Oh my goodness!  Look at her sitting up!  I have had so much fun at Baby E’s sessions.  Today, we tried some different poses with mom holding her.  They are so precious. We try on different outfits, put in little bows (she has just enough hair), went outside in flowers and of course we got brother involved too.  I get so caught up in the session, that 2 hours goes by like nothing.  Mom sits her down, and if it is in reach, it is in her hands.  If not she will try to get to it.  Let’s see, squeezing dirt, grabbing flowers, and of course a butterfly (shown above, it didn’t last long).  I am always looking forward to the next session.  Have fun and Enjoy!

Baby D session

Baby ‘D’ is only 3 months here.  We had a little trouble to get him smiling; I believe he just wasn’t used to me.  We had great time using different toys as props.  He was very good for us and then I guess we wore him out.  But I got great shots of him snoozing.  Such adorable boy.  Click the image above to view more.

Baby KJ – Mom & Son

We wanted to get outside and take some pictures of baby KJ.  I found a grassy field and it was a blast.  These pictures were taken back in April.  (You can see that I am playing catch up on my blog posts.)  I plan on going out to that grassy field again soon.  And you know, the images I take there will not have this look to them.  The background will have changed.  That is one of the cool things about outside sessions.  No matter what location you use or how many times you go there, you end up with a different look.  Don’t get me wrong, I like doing inside portraits also.  Being able to offer my clients both options provides a versatility to the wonderful images we share.

If you are expecting a little one right around the corner, give me call or fill out my contact page, right now.  I have an excellent option for newborns to 12 months.  In January that option will be changing.  You don’t want to miss setting up a meeting with me to talk further of what memories we can be capturing.

Time For Another Baby E

It has been several months since we have seen Baby E.  I have several more to show.  Even though I haven’t been posting in a timely manner we still got together.  As I recall, it was a beautiful day to get outside and have some fun. Mom wanted to join in and we got some great mother/daughter images.  I can’t wait to catch up.  We have some fun photo sessions.  You just wait and see!

This morning I had to opportunity to photograph a 3 month old.  He is new to the blog and will be up some time in the near future.  You should have seen us trying to get him smiling.  I imagine he thought we were just plain crazy.  Ha!

So, If you just had a baby and you are looking for a photog, I can start shooting at 1 week of age.  Want to find out more, go over the contact page, fill it out and I will be in touch with you ASAP!
